One day we got a Reading Log reward and we got to play outside and we got ice-cream! When Matt (my friend) went to throw his trash away, he saw 2 butterflies in the trash can!!!!! All of us were all puzzled why a beautiful creature in a dirty place like a trash can! So Mrs. Bell (the other teacher) got got both of then out of the trash can and she put then on the ground!!!! My teacher, Mrs. Neft let us hold them and they felt like little things pinching you!!!! So, Mrs. Neft took pictures and now they are on the smart board and it is the screen saver!!!!!!!!!!
Not only were you rewarded for your Reading Log, but you were rewarded by being able to look at nature up close. The butterflies were beautiful and you were all so very gentle with them.
